BOOMerang

The boomerang is an object with a history spanning centuries, deeply rooted in the traditions of Australia’s Aboriginal peoples. Its distinctive geometry and characteristic flight path, returning to its point of origin, provided the inspiration for the design concept.

An exploration of its form and function led to the creation of a contemporary everyday object. Crafted from American walnut with a metal extension, the minimal structure rests against both the floor and the wall, functioning as a clothes hanger.

BOOMerang reinterprets a recognizable traditional form through contemporary design, combining simplicity, functionality, and the natural qualities of its materials.
